The sugar cookies turned out great.
The chocolate chip were pretty good – Kali approved.
The shortbread – dry! Flavor wasn’t bad but like a desert in your mouth.
Yes desert – not dessert.
What a cutie!! No real smashing took place – maybe too full from dinner or overwhelmed with all the festivities. The carrot cake was a hit though!
Sunday night I used a pigma graphic to outline this mandala.
I also got a new phone – Huawei P30 Pro…a bit of a learning curve! And having to sign in on all the apps is a real pain!
The camera is great, but I didn’t take any stills of the cake smash so I had to download an app to get the pictures above.

I decided to add another challenge into my life on an alternate website. A 30 day purge challenge. Clear the clutter challenge. Learn to let go challenge….
So I spent a good chunk of the evening trying to set up the website – without success. I’m hoping I’ll have better luck now that I’ve installed updates on my computer – what that has to do with anything I’m not sure but fingers crossed.
While my computer was updating I found a book page that had a watermark doodle through the center. I got out a micron pen, did some tracing and added a couple of basic lotus flowers on the top and bottom.
